Release 48 is here and the first new area I visited or checked out is the Lost Whiteguard Silver Mine in Solania. It is located just North East of Solania and I got lost finding it.

I didn't know where it was exactly located and spent a few minutes looking for it on the Overworld Map but my guildmate, Paulie Walnuts, pointed me in the right direction. ^_^

Sadly, the Lost Whiteguard Silver Mine is a let down because it has more Bandits and Skeletons than Silver Veins. A low level Avatar will have a hard time mining in it and, still, they won't get a good output in Silver Ores. T_T

In Shroud of the Avatar, a feature called Quest Reset was added recently for those Avatars who would like to re-do all the quest in the game again.

This Quest Reset is "one time only". After this one Quest Reset, Avatars can no longer do another Quest Reset in the future.

The Quest Reset will take away all rewards associated with the main Story Line Quest.

Today I bought a Wrought Iron Wall Clock with Game Gold.

The Wrought Iron Wall Clock is an item available in the Add-On Store and getting it or buying it from the Add-On Store would have cost me 5 US Dollars but it didn't because I bought it with Game Gold.

Personally, I have no intention of buying any of the clocks that are for sale in the Add-On Store but, when I saw the Wrought Iron Wall Clock listed in a Player Vendor in Bladewyke, I couldn't resist not buying it.


The reason why I couldn't resist buying it was the fact that it was listed for only 12500 Game Gold and that was a very, very low price for it.

After buying the Wrought Iron Wall Clock from the Player Vendor, I immediately used it as a decoration in my home in Bladewyke.

So, as you can see, you don't need spend real money to acquire or get items that are sold in the Add-On Store because, if you have enough Game Gold then you'll eventually find Add-On Store items sold for Game Gold in the game.

"Forums Are Dying" - Everyone Is Saying It? - Excused From Moderation? NOPE! • Shroud Of The Avatar

Browsing through the infamous Shroud of the Avatar reddit page, someone posted a complaint about Berek deleting his post in the official Shroud of the Avatar forum.

According to the complainer, his post was deleted because Berek did not like him posting "doom and gloom" messages like and I quote, "these forums are dying".


Of course, Berek explained that the forum is not dying and that it's getting the same number of post as in previous months but I don't think the complainer liked what Berek had to say.

Also, according to the complainer and I quote, "everyone is saying it". I guess he was referring to his claim that the forum is dying.


Now, here's the thing, I don't think everyone is saying it because I'm always in the forum and this is the first time I'm hearing or reading about it. If everyone is saying it then it should be all over the forum.

That's the problem with people, they like to generalize things and use words like "all" or "everyone" to make their point look important but, in reality, there could only be like one or two people, maybe 10 but that's not "everyone".

By the way, having backed Shroud of the Avatar with lots of money doesn't excuse anyone from moderation and, I guess, the complainer didn't like getting moderated specially when he is 5 figures backer.

Using A Bow And Arrow For The First Time, Battle Of Solace Bridge, Shroud of the Avatar

Currently, Shroud of the Avatar is running a test of its Free Trial System and that means you can play Shroud of the Avatar for free until July 26, 2017. Just go to shroudoftheavatar.com, create a free account, download the game, install the game and start playing.

Now, if you are a Free Trial Player then you'll start on the Path of Love and the Oracle will transport you to the Battle of Solace Bridge.


Unfortunately, you will start with no weapons and since you are on the Path of Love, the weapon available to you is the bow and arrow.

You will find some arrows scattered around the training area and you will find a bow from a dead Archer. Just pick up the bow to automatically equip it.

With your bow equipped and with some arrows, you are now ready to enter Combat Mode and you can do that by pressing the Z key. In Combat Mode, you will have your Combat Bar with a couple of Skills like the Aimed Shot and Heal Skill.

To start attacking with your bow and arrows, simply double click your target. To stop attacking, simply press the Escape Key. To use a Skill while attacking, simply press the number that correspond to the skill you want to use in the Combat Bar.

Now, if you are still having problems or issues attacking with a bow and arrow then try restarting the game to fix it. If your problem continues then report it as a BUG in the official Shroud of the Avatar forum.

The developer of Shroud of the Avatar, Portalarium, which is led by legendary game creator, Richard Garriott, started a SeedInvest Campaign to help them publish Shroud of the Avatar.

Shroud Of The Avatar Community Trailer Contest, Haters Lose Their Minds, LOL!

Okay so, recently, Berek, the Community Manager of Shroud of the Avatar, made a new announcement in the official Shroud of the Avatar forum and the announcement is about a new Community Trailer Contest.

This new Shroud of the Avatar Community Trailer Contest has a total price of over $2000 US Dollars in Store Credits. Now, it maybe in Store Credits but, if you know Shroud of the Avatar, you can still cash out all that money, indirectly.

Not surprisingly, the haters in Reddit are losing their minds over it. As always, they immediately formulate theories and negative opinions about Shroud of the Avatar, the contest and the world in general.

For example, one redditor said and I quote, "this is is disgusting behaviour". I'm not sure why there are two "is" in that comment but I never thought doing a video contest for the community to participate in "is a disgusting behaviour".


Another redditor said and I quote, "they are getting us to make them a full on release trailer". As if Shroud of the Avatar and Portalarium are forcing people to make them trailer. It's a contest and it's voluntary.


So, basically, Shroud of the Avatar Haters, specially in Reddit, are offended by this Shroud of the Avatar Community Trailer Contest and they even ramble on about doing professional work for gift vouchers or something to that effect.

Seriously, and I'm going to say it again. It's a contest and it's voluntary. The keyword here is voluntary. Amateur, hobbyist or professional doesn't matter because again it's voluntary.

It's actually very simple, really. If you don't like the price and you feel it's a waste of your time then don't participate. That's how simple it is.

Shroud Of The Avatar is doing another Video Contest. Obviously, I'm not expecting to win because the Shroud of the Avatar Community is filled / jam packed with extremely talented people but I do enjoy participating.

Shroud of the Avatar celebrated the Birthday of Richard Garriott aka Lord British with a Birthday Bash Telethon where they were able to raise $100,000 US Dollars in only 6 hours.

Wow! I wish I could do that for my birthdays. LOL!

To get to Perenial Coast, an Avatar must either go through a Control Point or go through the valley or canyon or pass. Going through the pass is easier but, now, this area is guarded by a Troll. A big ass Troll and I always try to sneak pass it.

The Viking Village Inn is a new type of house in Shroud of the Avatar. It's specially made for the upcoming Room Rental System in Release 44 (hopefully). It has 15 rent ready rooms and it's 4-story tall.

The Viking Village Inn is not a craftable house. It's only available in Shroud of the Avatar's Add-On Store and getting it will cost you $100 USD.

I am very interested in getting this Viking Village Inn but I don't have $100 USD to burn in the Add-On Store, unfortunately.

I learned recently that the Skeletons in Spectral Mines are now harder to deal with specially if they group up and start mobbing you. Unfortunately, I experienced it first-hand as I was attacked by at least 7 Hardened Skeletons as I was entering Spectral Mines.

Detractors of Shroud of the Avatar like to complain about many things. One of their common complaint is about the game's graphics. They like to complain that it looks like something from year 2000.

Obviously, these people have never played MMORPGs from the year 2000 because Shroud of the Avatar's graphics, even with my Fastest Graphics setting, looks 100 times better than anything from 2000. LOL!

Agents of Shield had its Season 4 Finale, it's titled World's End and I watched it while mining in Elysium Mines. Now, the title episode title World's End meant the end of the fake virtual world called the Framework.

The Framework was created by Dr. Radcliffe (not sure about the spelling) and by AIDA. It was a virtual world that looks and feels like the real world. In other words, it was the Matrix v0.
